Foundation Health

Informed by the changing needs of communities Foundation Health will respond by delivering superior quality, evidenced based and up-to-date health services.

Foundation Health is a private health provider specialising in addiction problems and other psychological and behavioural problems (such as grief and loss, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, life stressors and mental health disorders). We are an adult health service and see people from age 18.

We pride ourselves on having a skilled, comfortable, responsive and confidential service.

Foundation Health is able to provide individual, couples and group work. We also have the provision to provide training and educational activities for workforce development.

Life and Relationship Problems

Foundation Health provides a comfortable and confidential counselling service to work-through problems that arise throughout the human life cycle.

Other Problem Behaviours

Foundation Health provides assessment and treatment of behaviours which may be causing problems for the individual, couples and family and social groups.

Specialist Assessments

Specialist assessments may be required for a number of reasons including referral to services, medical treatment and second opinions.

Problem Alcohol and Drug Use

Foundation Health provides a comfortable setting to address problems that arise through the use of alcohol and other drugs.

Sandplay Therapy

Sandplay therapy is a non-verbal therapeutic technique assisting with finding perspective to issues.

Supervision / Groupwork

Foundation Health provides professional supervision for individuals and staff groups in a comfortable and confidential setting.

Training & Education

Periodically Foundation Health provides training and education sessions for the workers in the mental health field and other interested parties.

Addiction Medicine

The Foundation Health Addiction Medicine specialist/Psychiatrist provides healthcare for people with a wide range of addictions.
